The Friends of the York County History Center had its formal beginnings in 1964, and has raised funds, hosted events, volunteered in support roles and nurtured friendships year after year. The Friends Membership is open for all York County History Center Members.
WHAT WE DO
Fundraisers Include:
- Bake Sale at Oyster Festival (October 20)
- Turkey Trot Sandwiches to Go (November 7)
- Annual Holiday Pecan and Car Wash Ticket Sale (November and December)
- Treasures and Trinkets (February 7-8, 2025)
- Friends Book Blast (June 2025)

- If These Walls Could Talk history programs
- Fall Luncheon
- International Trips
- Local History Excursions
The Friends are exploring more ways they can raise funds for the History Center, but they can’t do it alone. We are hoping you will join the Friends and help them support the History Center.
